Carrie B. Davis has worked in both technical and creative fields for her entire career. From dressing drag queens to working at the Exploratorium science museum, she has always had one foot in the artistic world, and one in the realm of engineering. She loves the challenge of taking technical requirements and translating them into a functional, elegant design. She thrives in environments where people with various skill sets and knowledge bases work together to create a novel product. Her background in both the arts and sciences ensures she can communicate with colleagues from many backgrounds, and can synthesize their requests into a cogent final product.
Carrie studied psychology and drama at Tufts University. She continued her technical education at Apparel Arts in Oakland.
Hobbies include creative collaborative projects, spending time in the California wilds, and cooking elaborate meals.
